The German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW) invited the members of its senate for a 2012 year-end closing ceremony in Berlin. During this event two member companies have been visited including site visits with around 30 participants on November 30th 2012. Besides overviews on First Sensor AG, a specialist for all kinds of sensor measurement devices, detailed insights could also be gained at the BAE Batterien GmbH production facilities.
With a grand opening ceremony on the roof top of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana, Kazakhstan, a Photovoltaic application including a backup-system with approx. 10kWp power generation went successfully into operation. The ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, representatives of the Kazakhstan government and participants of all involved German project partners joined the ceremony.
There are many open door nights in the German capital city. But now there has also been a Night of the Industry in Berlin. On May 9th 2012 Berlin companies opened their doors for interested guests and BAE Batterien GmbH was part of it. The feedback on offering an expert guided tour at the BAE premises was tremendous and so on May 9th many interested parties, young and old, gathered at BAE to experience the world of industry first hand.
