BAE goes Asia: First Regional Office opened in Kuala Lumpur

Based on the continuous growth of its activities in the Asia-Pacific Region BAE has opened its first Regional Office in Kuala Lumpur. The new regional office is located very strategically in the promising Asean Region and will be headed by our marketing director Chin Haur Lieh. Chin Haur Lieh worked from 2007 until 2014 as a general manager for UTS Technology Sdn. Bhd in Malaysia where he got very familiar with the BAE products since a long time.

Before that Chin Haur Lieh was responsible for the business development of the Asian Pacific Region for both Exide Technologies and Hoppecke Batterien GmbH. Through this step BAE trusts that we are even able to optimize the relationships with our existing partners and to better support our business across the region. BAE anticipates that advantages concerning the knowledge of the regional market situation will accelerate the expected growth during the next years.

BAE goes Asia: AHK Certificate

To celebrate the inauguration of the new regional office BAE held from the 4th until March 7th its second BAE Asia-Pacific Workshop which took place also in Kuala Lumpur. In conjunction with this, BAE took also the opportunity to present the new structure of the regional office and to give several in-depth technical trainings about its complete product portfolio to the attending partners. Partners from several countries, like Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand were trained about the specific features of the high quality BAE products by Michael Schiemann, the technical director of BAE. Also new products and services within the BAE portfolio were introduced and explained.

Besides Chin Haur Lieh, the new marketing director Asia Pacific, took the chance to explain about the BAE success in Malaysia and analyzed the regional market situation and transferred the Malaysian success to chances in the other regional markets. After an intensive and successful workshop the partners were given the possibility to mingle with each other in a relaxed atmosphere and to experience the traditional Malaysian food and the city of Kuala Lumpur.
