The German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) is presenting the results of its current economic survey, which they did with the Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs). In this survey they evaluated the economic situation and expectations at the beginning of the year 2017. The survey is held twice a year since autumn 1977.
The survey results of the companies by the individual chambers of industry and commerce are the basis for the DIHK results of the study. A representative selection of member companies were interviewed. At the beginning of the year 2017, more than 27,000 answers were evaluated by 79 IHKs.
Jan IJspeert, Managing Director of the export-intensive industrial company BAE and at the same time chairman of the committee for foreign trade at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Berlin, has presented his assessment of economic development in a contribution to the DIHK and its members.
