In close cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan was on the building of the Ministry by using German technology a solar system built to demonstrate the acquisition and storage of electricity from solar energy and on 13 September 2013 officially committed.
The solar system was created by the German consortium BAE Batteries GmbH and DPU Investment GmbH in cooperation with AEG Power Solutions, Enerparc and Roth & Rau, accompanied by information and training. The project is part of the German Energy Agency (dena) recalled to life and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) under the "Renewable Energies Export Initiative" funded "dena Solar Roofs Programme".
The inauguration of the solar system on 13 September 2013 was made by the Minister of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sherali Gul, honourable in the presence of representatives from politics and economy of both countries.
Particular attention was the greeting by Prof. Rainer Lindner of the Eastern Committee of German Economy, Stephan Kohler of the German Energy Agency (dena), Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Imomudin Sattorov and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Tajikistan Holger Green, with the importance of consolidating and strengthening the Tajik-German economic relations were appreciated.
In numerous discussions it became clear, that the use of photovoltaics for electricity generation is just beginning but German companies have good opportunities to shape the development of a sustainable electricity supply in Tajikistan.
