From the 31st of May to the 2nd of June 2017 the 26th Intersolar, the world's leading exhibition for the solar industry and the electrical energy storage (ees), took place in Munich. The ees is the largest and best-visited exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems. Both leading exhibitions were again a point of attraction for the international industry get-together, represented by 51 countries with 1.100 exhibitors and about 40.000 visitors.
BAE exhibited at the ees and presented its solar application products BAE Secura Solar, for the market of renewable energy. Besides the BAE SunDepot 2.0 which was especially developed for residential applications, the focus was on the BAE Outdoor Box for Off-Grid battery systems. The BAE Outdoor Box offers a maximum environmental protection against dust, water, provides mechanical stability and complete protection against unauthorized access. Further a permanent ventilation is guaranteed by air vents and in addition the box is electrically isolated.
The exhibition provided again a very good platform for exchange between BAE and their partners and as well, as prospects to inform them about the high quality portfolio of BAE and thereby discuss sustainable project solutions.
During the tradeshow BAE had the opportunity to give a brief explanation to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Oliver Sven Bohlen (Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften München, Electrical Storage) and his students about the proven technology and the outstanding products from BAE. (See picture)
Like in the years before, BAE contributed an energy storage lecture at the BSW Off-grid Forum by the German Bundesverband für Solarwirtschaft (BSW) with the title: “Lead acid batteries – new applications for Flexibilization of Energy Systems”, held by our technical director, Mr. Michael Schiemann.
Next year BAE will participate again at the ees which will take place together with the Intersolar from the 20th to 22nd of June 2018 in Munich.
