The International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference & Exhibition (SNEC PV POWER EXPO) was held in Shanghai, China, on April 19th to 21st 2017. The exhibition in the last years has evolved from 15,000sqm in 2007 to over 180,000sqm in 2017, with more than 1800 exhibitors. Herewith the SNEC has become one of the biggest international PV tradeshows in Asia and even in the world.
After being present as a visitor in the past, BAE this year took the chance to be present with a common Berlin-Brandenburg booth, to explore the Chinese market and its demands. Together with other companies from Berlin and Brandenburg, BAE presented its excellent technology for solar applications made in Germany.
Next to the meetings with BAE partners from the Asian region, which were invited to come to visit the booth, BAE has had a positive experience with the interest of potential customers. It turned out that reliable energy storage becomes more important and that there is a need for high quality batteries in the Chinese market. Through the participation at the tradeshow, BAE succeeded in developing new partners on site.
