From the 20th of June to the 22nd of June 2018 Europe's largest, most international and most visited trade fair for batteries and energy storage systems, the electrical energy storage (ees), took place in Munich, Germany. The event was part of „The smarter E Europe“ which included three further simultaneous events: Power2Drive Europe, EM-Power and Intersolar. Again, the ees was a point of attraction for the international industry, manufacturers, distributors, users and suppliers, represented by more than 450 exhibitors of products for energy storage technology and systems.
Since many years, the Renewable Energy Asia (REA) is the leading event in the field of Renewable Energy and took place from 6 to 9 June this year in Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). In conjunction with Energy Efficiency 2018, Entec Pollutec Asia 2018 and Electric Vehicle Asia 2018, REA 2018 has attracted many exhibitors and visitors in the field of solar power, energy storage and power generation.
The well-known format "Die schöne Straße" (“The beautiful Street”) was live broadcasted on 18 May 2018 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. by Radio1 from the Wilhelminenhofstraße in Berlin–Schöneweide (please see link below). The Wilhelminenhofstraße, where BAE is situated since 1899, is known as the location of one of the largest contiguous industrial areas in Europe and is a part of the "Elektropolis Berlin". Based on the format residents and entrepreneurs including Mr. Jan IJspeert, CEO of BAE Batterien GmbH, were interviewed.
