From the 20th of June to the 22nd of June 2018 Europe's largest, most international and most visited trade fair for batteries and energy storage systems, the electrical energy storage (ees), took place in Munich, Germany. The event was part of „The smarter E Europe“ which included three further simultaneous events: Power2Drive Europe, EM-Power and Intersolar. Again, the ees was a point of attraction for the international industry, manufacturers, distributors, users and suppliers, represented by more than 450 exhibitors of products for energy storage technology and systems.
BAE Batterien exhibited at the ees Europe and presented its highest quality BAE SECURA SOLAR batteries for renewable energy and residential applications. Furthermore, the BAE SUNDEPOT 2.0, which was especially developed for residential applications and the BAE OUTDOOR BOX for Off-Grid battery systems, was presented. Once again, BAE and VARTA were immediate neighbors with their booths in hall B1, connected not solely by their shared history but also their today still valid quality understanding.
Also this year the exhibition provided a very good platform for exchange between BAE and their partners from all over the world and as well to inform prospects about the high quality portfolio of BAE and thereby discuss sustainable project solutions. The easiest way to convince prospects of the outstanding quality of BAE product is of course to let (longlasting) partners share their experiences. Therefore, the ees Europe is an excellent opportunity to bring them together and to exchange.
This opportunity was also taken by several delegations, to inform about the BAE quality products and to learn about the market and technological developments. So during the ees BAE had the opportunity to receive guests and delegates especially from Latin America. Among these were delegates from Bolivia, Argentina and as well as from Uruguay which were explained more in detail about the BAE business strategy.
Like in the years before, BAE presented an energy storage lecture on Wednesday, June 20th, in the BSW Off-grid Forum with the title: “Reliable Solar Off-Grid Solutions with Lead Batteries”, held by PhD Julia Roß, Head of Product Development.
Concluding that the trade show 2018 was a big success, BAE next year will participate again at the ees Europe which will take place from the 15th to 17th of May 2019 in Munich. We would be delighted to see you next year (again).
