European Utility Week Paris 2019

From 12 to 14 November, the European Utility Week (EUW) trade fair and conference took place in Paris, France. This trade fair brought together a large number of manufacturing companies, project developers, service providers and other exhibitors who are mainly active in the energy supply and power generation sectors. BAE Batterien GmbH (BAE) was present as an exhibitor at the joint stand of Berlin Brandenburg, where local companies presented their technology and services to existing and potential new customers.

The objective of European companies during this three-day event is to establish business relationships for the exchange of goods and services for more efficient, cost-effective and cleaner power generation and distribution. BAE had the opportunity to showcase its high quality technology to potential customers interested in using premium lead-acid batteries for a range of utility applications. The BAE SECURA product line for stationary applications can be used for uninterruptible power supply systems, switchgear management, emergency power supply, data centres and various other critical applications.

Parallel to the regular exhibition floor, conferences, talks, and discussions by experts in the industry took place in numerous various venues throughout the exhibition hall. The main focus in this context was on the possibilities of offsetting greenhouse gases and emissions occurring during power generation for utilities and the practical implementation. For these applications the high quality batteries of BAE are an essential part. Besides for carbon offset purposes, in situations where utilities depend on diesel generators in case of a power outage, the deep discharge stationary batteries are an excellent solution to bridge the blackout time in case of an interruption.

Battery utilisation, whether as backup or storage, is an essential part of the utility industry. In this context, battery quality holds a particularly important and sometimes even life-saving role. BAE is proud to continue to offer premium batteries for the demanding industrial sector, 100 % Made in Germany.
